Salary: $63,419.00 - $104,910.00 Annually
Education & Experience Requirements (Minimum Qualifications)Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Criminal Justice or closely related field AND at least five (5) years of experience in law enforcement property and evidence management. Must obtain certification with the International Association of Property and Evidence within one (1) year of employment. A comparable amount of education, training, and experience may substitute for the minimum requirements.
*Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License.
The County of Volusia is seeking an experienced Program Manager - Working Title: Evidence Manager for the Sheriff's Office. This position will be located in DeLand, Florida and will be responsible for maintaining the security, integrity, and chain of custody of property/evidence by state laws and department policies and procedures. The selected candidate will be responsible for the overall management and quality control of the Evidence Section within the Support Operation Division.
