Jonesboro, GA

Police have raided a home in Jonesboro where they recovered items believed to have been stolen from the McDonough Police headquarters.  Police Chief Preston Dorsey said three suspects were being held in connection with the June 1 break-in.

The suspects were charged with theft by receiving stolen property. They also face narcotics-related charges. Police said burglars broke into the police department last week through a window in an administrative building and were able to access the evidence room.
