ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Charges against two men have been dropped because of the alleged theft of evidence by a technician.

According to the Daily Times, Matthew Harrison and Jayson Gustina are off the hook. Police say Harrison sold narcotics to an informant. He’s the same man who was shot three times Tuesday in an unrelated incident, but he is expected to survive.

KRQE News 13 does have details of Gustina’s arrest. Detectives say former evidence technician Ashley Goodvoyce stole case materials, including drugs and money. Twelve other cases could also be affected.
