ROGERSVILLE (WATE) - A former Hawkins County sheriff's deputy pleaded guilty Monday to several charges in a missing evidence case from 2011.

The Hawkins County Circuit Court Clerk's Office said Brad Depew pleaded guilty to: tampering with evidence, official misconduct, seven counts of burglary, five counts of possession of burglary tools and five counts of theft of $500 or less.

Depew also pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of several drugs including: cocaine, meth, oxycodone, Alprazolam, Dihydrocodeine, Diazepam, methadone and Clonazepam.

Investigators arrested Depew on April 21, 2011 at his home in Church Hill when they were looking for missing narcotics and other evidence taken from the sheriff's office evidence room.

Depew was dismissed from the sheriff's office.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on November 26.
