UPDATE: American Fork police said the owner of the photo albums has been identified and contact. "Thank you so much for everyone's help," American Fork Police Department said.

(KUTV) — The American Fork Police Department is trying to reunite photo albums from its evidence room with their owner, and they are asking the public for its help.

Two of the photos are wedding albums according to a Facebook post from the department, and all four belong to the same person and appear to be approximately 16 years old.

"We imagine the albums would be of incredible value to the owner," police said. "They appear to be circa-2003 based on some of the photos."

Police found the albums during an inventory check of the evidence room where the owner has never been identified.

Police included a photo of a woman who they think is the owner of the photos. The department requests that anyone who knows who she is contact Lieutenant Paul of the AFPD at 801.763.3020.

"If not, please share the post so we can identify her. Thanks for your help!"
