Former police captain sentenced

BATAVIA, OH (FOX19) - A former captain with the Felicity Police Department was sentenced Monday on a tampering with evidence charge.

Delmas "Gee" Pack, 42, was given two years of probation and must perform 200 hours of community service.

He was facing up to 5 years in prison, but prosecutors said they would agree to probation if Pack promised to never become a police officer again.

Pack pleaded guilty to the charge earlier this month, which stemmed from him confiscating Oxycontin pills during a drug investigation, and not logging them as evidence.
