BUTLER (WITI) — More trouble for the Butler Police Department! The Police Chief in Whitefish Bay has confirmed he has been asked to look into an internal complaint regarding the Butler Police Department.

Sources close to the investigation say the complaint questions whether more than $1,000 went missing from Butler PD’s evidence room.

A red flag was raised by an officer currently on staff.

This latest investigation comes on the heels of misconduct that includes officers watching porn on the job, and missing police reports.

One lieutenant is facing criminal charges after being accused of taking inappropriate pictures of a stripper.

They are charges he denies.

The Whitefish Bay Police Chief says he cannot give a timeline on his investigation.
