GREENVILLE, MISS. — Greenville Police Chief Freddie Cannon says an investigation is under way into the discovery that an undetermined amount of money was taken from a crime scene.

Money was reportedly taken from the scene of the death of Kenneth Worbington of Greenville.

Cannon says the investigation will determine how much money was missing.

The body of the 52-year-old Worbington was found inside his home on June 9. An autopsy found the cause of death to be multiple gunshot wounds but there were also multiple cuts and stab wounds to his face and head.

Cannon says everyone who was at the crime scene will be interviewed.
