BETHANY, Okla. — The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said it is investigating allegations of missing property at a metro police department.

Agents said they began an investigation into the Bethany Police Department after items went missing from the property room. Jessica Brown with the OSBI said they are looking into the incident as a possible crime.

Brown said the OSBI was contacted by District Attorney David Prater on March 6 and asked to look into the allegations. An investigation began on March 7.

Neither Prater nor the Bethany Police Department would not comment on the investigation.
