The police officer accused of stealing evidence from his own department found himself before a judge Tuesday.
Terry Putnam was arraigned Monday on charges including theft by unlawful taking over $10,000 and tampering with physical evidence.

He's accused of stealing about $30,000 in cash, drugs and handguns from evidence lockers.

State police arrested Putnam in January and a grand jury indicted him last week.

In court Monday, Putnam requested a bond reduction hearing.

He will be back in court on May 2.
