MAHANOY CITY -- A cop in Schuylkill County has been fired in the midst of a scandal involving missing money.
Mahanoy City borough council won't go into detail about what led to the termination of Corporal Michael Dissinger.
We do know state police are still investigating at least $10,000 dollars missing from the evidence room of the police department.
Dissinger was suspended with pay when the investigation started in April.
Mahanoy City's former chief of police also resigned that same month.
