EUGENE, Ore. – A Cottage Grove man pleaded not guilty Wednesday to federal charges alleging he took drugs from the evidence locker while working as a city police officer.
The court unsealed the criminal complaint against 48-year-old Phillip Allan Beach. Beach is accused of knowingly and intentionally took possession of a controlled substance by misrepresentation, fraud, forgery, deception, or subterfuge while working as a Cottage Grove Police officer.
